Occupational Safety Professional

Candidates must have a BS degree in science, engineering, industrial hygiene, safety and health, or related field or a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential. Solv seeks candidates with experience providing onsite safety and occupational health support to government clients; experience with injury and illness reporting and recordkeeping; experience with Microsoft 365 and database management; professional knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Department of Transportation (DOT), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes; hazard assessments, job hazard analysis, and personal protective equipment; industrial, construction, and office operations; and occupational safety and health programs. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills. Per contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold or be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Office & Human Resources Manager

Candidates must have at least 5 years of human resources (HR) and office management experience and possess the following qualities: 1) ability to independently provide HR management for a small company while providing comprehensive administrative assistance; 2) service-oriented with a positive, enthusiastic, professional attitude; 3) highly organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and willing to learn; 4) ability to prioritize workload as needed to meet appointed schedules; 5) ability to work independently and demonstrated skill in completing assignments accurately; 6) experience maintaining confidentiality of files and records; 7) strong decision-making skills and integrity; 8) strong verbal and written communication skills; 9) desire to be a long-term contributing member of the company; and 10) skilled in Microsoft Office products including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. A degree in Business Administration, Management, HR, or a related field is preferred. Additional job duties may include formatting large public-facing documents in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including creating templates or following client requirements for large volume documents; collaborating with project delivery teams to implement and ensure compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act accessibility requirements for documents delivered to clients; and other duties as required. Experience in these additional job duties is a plus, but not required. Candidates must be willing to learn the skills required for these additional job duties. Facilities and Energy Engineer

Experience in energy modeling, commissioning, retro-commissioning, and re-commissioning of data centers, laboratories, central utility plants, or other facilities is preferred. US citizenship required; must pass background investigation. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.
Environmental Planner - Water Resources Focus

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in water resources science, watershed science, hydrology, geology/hydrogeology, biology, ecology, natural resources management, environmental science, environmental engineering or a related degree. A Master of Science degree in urban and regional planning (preferably with an environmental concentration), urban and environmental planning, or related discipline is preferred. Coursework or experience in economic analysis is also a plus. Candidates must have 7 to 10 years of experience developing and reviewing NEPA EAs and EISs; planning reports; plans of work; engineering assessments; economic investigations and reports; interdisciplinary watershed plans; and other technical reports. US citizenship required; must pass background investigation. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.
