Environmental Scientist

  • Candidates with at least a Master of Science degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of work experience related to energy, environmental, engineering, or planning services for government or commercial clients. Professional registrations are a plus. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.

Engineer

  • Candidates with at least a Master of Science degree in civil engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of experience related to energy, environmental, engineering, or planning services for government or commercial clients. Professional registrations are a plus. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.

Cultural Resources Project Manager or Specialist

  • Candidates with at least a Master of Science or Master of Arts degree in archaeology, architectural history, or equivalent and 5 or more years of experience managing or performing cultural resources work, including architectural and archeological surveys, assessments, and mitigation, as well as SHPO consultation support. Ideal candidates meet professional qualifications standards specified by the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for archeology and historic preservation. Related experience with the Department of Defense is preferred. US citizenship required; must pass background investigation. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.

Certified Industrial Hygienist

  • Candidates with at least a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial hygiene, safety and health, or related field is required. Ideal candidates with have 5 to 10 years of experience, and preferably at least 3 years of those years of experience in providing industrial hygiene consulting services to government clients. Must be a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and have or be able to obtain an AHERA Asbestos Inspector Certification and a Virginia asbestos inspector license. US citizenship required; must pass background investigation. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.

Facilities and Energy Engineer

  • Candidates with at least a Master of Science degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, energy management, building systems, civil) and a total of 4 to 10 years of work experience. Experience in energy modeling, commissioning, retro-commissioning, and re-commissioning of data centers, laboratories, central utility plants, or other facilities is preferred. US citizenship required; must pass background investigation. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.

Environmental Planner - Water Resources Focus

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in water resources science, watershed science, hydrology, geology/hydrogeology, biology, ecology, natural resources management, environmental science, environmental engineering or a related degree. A Master of Science degree in urban and regional planning (preferably with an environmental concentration), urban and environmental planning, or related discipline is preferred. Coursework or experience in economic analysis is also a plus. Candidates must have 7 to 10 years of experience developing and reviewing NEPA EAs and EISs; planning reports; plans of work; engineering assessments; economic investigations and reports; interdisciplinary watershed plans; and other technical reports. US citizenship required; must pass background investigation. All candidates must possess outstanding oral and written communications skills.
